  Well,we are smarter ,in the army the officers send the men over the hill to get killed, the airforce men put the officers in the aircraft and send them off to get killedand think of the uniforms dark blue is much more classy than green and last but not least we have better toys to play with.

  Freedom, doit you will not regret it ,i felt exactly the same way ,wanted to join the airforce since i was little and finally did it when in my thirties but love it and really get angry thinking of all the years i wasted and the rank i could have been.

  When i did recruits i just kept thinking that even the instructors were recruits once and if they can do it so can i and i wanted to be able to finish and look my family in the eye.

  I am currently in the Royal Australian Air Force as a leading aircraftsman involved mainly with airfield defence and security although i do get to work with aircraft a bit as well.I enlisted before we officially left but we had not been active or to a meeting for a few years . Mr curious
